Arranging Their Farewell
“Every pet in our care will receive an individual cremation, carried out with the utmost dignity and compassion”
Stephanie Dunlop, Owner,
Beloved Pet Funeral Care
As Renfrewshire's first private pet crematorium, Beloved Pet Funeral Care is dedicated to providing the highest standard of individual care.Being local means your pet stays close to home, allowing us to return their ashes to you as soon as possible - typically within 72 hours.
We specialise exclusively in individual cremations. This ensures the ashes you receive are entirely and only those of your pet. Our priority service also means we can collect your pet directly from your home or veterinary practice, avoiding the long wait times often associated with weekly veterinary collections.

Our Promise to You
We operate differently because we understand that your pet is a family member. By choosing a private service at Beloved Pet Funeral Care, you ensure your pet does not have to wait for weekly transport and is treated with individual care from the moment they leave your side until they are returned home.
On the loss of your pet
What to do when your pet passes away
We are here to ensure your companion is handled with the dignity they deserve, providing an individual service that prioritises your pet’s care over high-volume veterinary collections.
1. Notify your Vet or Contact us Directly
If your pet passes away at a veterinary practice: Please inform your vet immediately that you wish to use Beloved Pet Funeral Care for a private cremation. This ensures your pet is not included in the vet’s standard weekly mass collection.
If you are pre-booking your farewell appointment with a vet, you can also pre-book our private collection and cremation service to ensure we are available for when you need us.
If your pet passes away at home: Please call us directly. Our staff are trained in pet bereavement and are here to support you through the arrangements with compassion and experience.
2. Arranging Collection or Arrival At Beloved Pet Funeral Care
Individual Collection: We can collect your pet (up to 40kg) directly from your home or veterinary surgery. Unlike standard services, every pet in our care travels individually. Local collection fees range from £10 to £60 depending on your location.
Bringing your pet to us: If you prefer to bring your pet to us yourself, you are welcome to use our Farewell Room to say your final goodbyes. There is no charge for the use of this room, though we ask that you book an appointment in advance.
3. Individual Cremation
Every pet entrusted to us receives a private, individual cremation. We never perform communal cremations and we do not handle clinical waste. This guarantees that the ashes returned to you are entirely and only those of your beloved pet.
4. Personal Touches & Farewell
Resting Photos: While we cannot offer viewings for pets we collect from homes or vets due to limited appointments, we can provide a photograph of your pet resting peacefully on our altar upon request (where possible).
The Return Home: Our service includes your choice of a scatter tube, four ink paw prints and a lock of your pet’s hair. Your pet’s ashes will be returned to you along with a cremation certificate, funeral bag, sympathy card, memorial keyring, forget-me-not seeds and a rose.
Pricing
Our Individual Cremation Prices include a choice of scatter tube, pet’s ink paw print, a lock of your pet’s hair, individual cremation certificate, sympathy card, a silk rose to symbolise the purity of their love, a heart key-ring to carry their love wherever you go, flower seeds as a symbol of remembrance, and a paw print charm symbolising the paw prints they left on your heart.
We never carry out communal cremations therefore the ashes you receive are ALL and ONLY those of your beloved pet.
For other choices, please see our selection of urns & caskets. In addition, you may also like a Pawpal Foam paw print - please let us know.
